This is a sharing plates venue, which makes it perfect for a romantic date.
We, on the other hand, we turned up as a family group of 7. We didn't book, and they moved tables to accommodate us, for which we were very grateful.
One waitress was working so hard but always smiling helpful and attentive. Even when we split a drink, she couldn't have been more helpful and polite. Wonderful.
Now, the food, what can i say, the combination of flavours was creative and all worked really well.
My personal favourite was the pork cheek.
What a breath of fresh air this venue and food are. If you are in Lourinha, then please do visit.

We visit this new restaurant beginning of the month. I love the idea of a small menu, a few options for meat lovers and so for a seafood person. Congratulation to the chef to be able to mix quality and creativity. The lady at the front of house was very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere is amazing. It felt very homie. We visited twice already. Glad to have a nice place in Lourinhã.

Carpaccio was elegant, creative and delicious.
SERVICE:
Kudos to the young 2 team members for doing their best to accommodate a full house .
As Impostor is brand new, i understand they still trying to work the details.
As a wine lover, would be great to have more than 1 white/red by the glass options.

You can see that the chef goes to the next level with the preparation. It’s a small menu but has chalkboard daily specials. The pork cheeks were served over puréed sweet potatoes with fresh melon and blueberries for an interesting twist. The melon was delicious. The grouper and shrimp moqueca was outstanding with appealing flavors and nice level of spice served with a side of rice. An added surprise was chopped cashews. A beautiful and intimate dining experience. I cannot express enough how rich and flavourful the food is. A gem in Lourinha. Compliments to the chef because it truly was a treat.

Great food! 10/10 everything, highly suggest ordering the Cheeks and the Chocolate Mousse Very cute restaurant with nice vibes, small place also, so remember to book in advance, hope they expand so we can take more people next time

We were fortunate enough to find this gem for lunch today! The hostess, Mariana, was welcoming, informative, and so very pleasant! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere charming. I highly recommend Imposter!

Fomos um grupo de 4 pessoas jantar ao impostor porque estávamos na Lourinhã. E confesso que íamos sem expectativas, pelo que só nos surpreendemos. A comida estava ótima, ambiente de tasca moderna, a Mariana que é a chef de sala sempre super simpática e atenciosa. O chef nuno que nos recomendou e escolheu o menu. Sem duvida um sitio a voltar. Obrigado a toda a equipa!

We went to dinner at Impostor as a group of four because we were in Lourinhã. I confess we had no expectations, so we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, with a modern tavern atmosphere. Mariana, the head waiter, was always super friendly and attentive. Chef Nuno recommended it to us and chose the menu. Definitely a place to return to. Thanks to the whole team!
